2022 State Fair of Texas Sheep & Goat Validation
Thursday, June 16th from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM at the Bell County Extension Office
• All Market Lambs and Goats, Wether/Commercial Dams and Does, and all Breeding Sheep and Goats will need to be validated.
• Roll-Over Breeding Sheep & Goat Validation program: Once validated, Breeding Sheep and Goat projects will be eligible for 3 years unless a change in ownership occurs. Any breeding animal validated during the Fall 2021 validation period is eligible to be exhibited by that exhibitor through the Fall 2024 show season. If ownership changes, the animal must be revalidated.
• Registered Sheep and Goat Exhibitors: The deadline for ownership, transfer, and registration for is June 30, 2022. A color PDF copy of the original registration papers must be emailed to
Whitney.Ingram@ag.tamu.edu by June 30, 2022.
